They help us organize and package materials for our retail store as well as help us tackle larger tasks that are harder for individual volunteers to work on. Volunteer groups will also receive a tour of our organization and learn about how we at SCRAP are working to promote reuse in our community.

We can accommodate up to 6 people in a group. If you have a larger group, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator directly so that they may try to work with our Education team in reserving studio space for your group.

Most groups seem to be most productive in a 2-3 hour time slot.

Sunday through Thursday between 11am and 5:30pm as our schedule allows. Saturdays are our busiest days at SCRAP so we prefer not to host groups on those days.

A month or more is preferable. If your preferred date is less than a month away your desired days and times may not be available.

We ask that our volunteers be at least in the 6th grade or 12 years of age.

Yes, your group can volunteer over a series of days in a row, once a week or once a month depending on our schedule and availability.
