For a uniquely hands-on experience, SCRAP offers field trips for elementary-schoolers through college students. Field trips are great for traditional/non-traditional school groups, Girl Scouts, community organizations and clubs. Students master vocabulary and concepts related to waste reduction and art in an exciting environment.
Field trips can be tailored to fit your student group, including the number of students, familiarity with reuse, age, ability, special needs, and any specific curriculum. The cost for field trips typically starts at $10 per crafter, with a $100 minimum fee; this covers 2 hours of lesson and craft time for a maximum of 26 crafters and their chaperones (capacity of 31 total). Field trips are typically available most Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays during store open hours (11am to 7pm). We prefer a 1:6 ratio of adults to students; please try to plan accordingly and arrange to have the necessary additional teacher aides or parental volunteers/chaperones available for the event.

Scouting Outings for Girl Scouts cost $10 per scout for two hours, with a minimum $100 fee. Scouting Outings are typically available most Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays during store open hours (11am to 7pm). Cancellations at least 48 hours prior to a scheduled event, workshop or education program will be given a refund, minus a 25% administrative fee. There are no refunds given for cancellations made less than 48 hours before an event, workshop or education program, or for no-shows. If SCRAP cancels, your fee will be refunded in full.
